This policy explains what information VendorRanked collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to vendorranked.com.
Information you give us
When you use our forms (for example to contact us, submit a business for consideration, or ask to claim or update a profile) we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email address, company details and message. We use them only to review and respond to your request and to keep our listings accurate.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting and caching providers process technical information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver and secure the site. To limit abuse of our forms we store a one-way hash of the submitting IP address for up to an hour. We cannot reverse that hash to recover the address.
How we use information
We use the information above to operate and secure the site, respond to enquiries, review listing and profile requests, and improve our content. Payment or sponsorship status never changes where a provider appears in our rankings; see our Editorial Policy and Advertising & Sponsored Content Disclosure.
Sharing
We don’t sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that host and operate the site, or where required by law or to protect the site and its users.
Retention
We keep form submissions only as long as needed to handle your request and to maintain our records of listing and profile changes. You can ask us to delete your submission at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. To make a request, email vendorranked@gmail.com or use our Contact page; we will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first.
Children
The site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Third-party links
Our pages link to provider websites and other third parties. We don’t control their privacy practices; please review their policies.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The current version is always on this page.
