How VendorRanked makes money, and how we keep commercial relationships separate from editorial rankings.
Our approach
VendorRanked intends to fund its work by offering services to providers, which may include enhanced profiles, clearly labeled sponsored placements, featured category visibility, sponsored content and referrals of business enquiries. Not all of these are available today.
What sponsorship never changes
- Whether a provider is included in an editorial ranking.
- A provider’s position in an editorial ranking.
- What we say about a provider’s strengths and limitations.
How you can tell
Sponsored placements appear in a separate section marked Sponsored placement and are labeled Ad in comparison tables. Links in sponsored placements are marked as sponsored for search engines. Sponsored articles are labeled as sponsored at the top of the page.
